Image Licensing & Copyright

This page explains the ownership and permitted use of original photographs displayed on the website.

Photography © Andrew Grundy and Di Syrett. All rights reserved.

Original photographs on this website were taken by Andrew Grundy and Di Syrett. Each photograph remains the property of its respective photographer and is displayed with the photographer's permission.

Reusing photographs

Photographs must not be copied, downloaded for reuse, republished, distributed or used commercially without permission from the relevant photographer.

Using photographs for machine-learning or AI training also requires permission from the relevant photographer, subject to applicable law.

Reasonable requests from local community groups for photographic use can be considered. Permission must be obtained before use and may include conditions about context, credit, editing or image quality.

Confirmed website credits

The current gallery credits are:

  • “Getting a bowl away” — Di Syrett.
  • “Short mat bowls in action” — Andrew Grundy.
  • Scoreboard and yellow jack photographs — Andrew Grundy.
  • The landscape bowls photograph in “Just bring yourself” is derived from IMG_0797.jpeg — Andrew Grundy.

Other optimized photographs in the supplied Draft 3 package are credited collectively to Andrew Grundy and Di Syrett where the generic web filename does not retain a reliable source-to-photographer mapping. No more specific ownership is asserted without confirmation.

People shown in photographs

Identifiable people may have privacy and other rights in relation to photographs in which they appear. The group intends to obtain appropriate permission before publicly publishing recognisable images.

Anyone concerned about appearing in a photograph can ask the group to review, remove or replace it.

What this notice does not cover

This notice applies to the original photographs only. It does not claim photographer ownership of the website's text or code, the approved bowl logo and favicon, third-party map content, external service marks or other third-party material.
